New Shop Find - Sugar Oh Honey Honey

I found Sugar Oh Honey Honey last week when a friend gave me a heads up that there was a limited edition Labyrinth Jewellery selection on its way. I love jewellery with a subtle geeky theme so thought I'd check it out - and I'm so happy I did.

I opted for 'The Goblin King' limited edition ring and love it even more in person than I did online.

Unfortunately my photos don't do the colours in the ring any justice. It's a gorgeous green with specs of different colours running through it. I've seen resin jewellery before that looks a bit cheap, but this is the exact opposite. It's waterproof, gorgeous quality and so pretty I keep staring at it when I'm wearing it (a lovely distraction from my computer screen at work!). So here's the ring..

...and as a lovely surprise I received a bonus item of a really sweet castle necklace...

...and lastly...here's the ring again, after I was a total geek and painted my nails to match (a different light and it still doesn't do the colours justice) ...

There are lots of other beautiful items on the site - so watch this space as it's probably going to feature again (and they do a subscription box. Yay!).

If you're looking for a gift for a friends with a geeky edge, or some very pretty jewellery or hair accessories in general I'd definitely recommend Sugar Oh Honey Honey - lovely items, beautifully wrapped and posted quickly.

I realise that this post is so gushing that it sounds sponsored - it's not - I'm genuinely just in love with my new ring!

Bye for now xx

Collection Crush - Next Scandi Range

With the slight changes I'm planning for this blog I may not do a weekly collection crush, but still plan to share lots of beautiful home ware, and this new range of Scandi themed items from Next is no exception.

I love the blues and reds in this range - they'd work beautifully in winter or summer.

Going clockwise from top left, the items can be found at the following links:

1. Horse Sculpture

2. Tapestry Bird Cushion

3. Tomato Tin Sign

4. Ceramic Bird

There are some other really cute items in the range, including tin cans planted with artificial flowers and some beautiful plate sets with a pretty blue and red scandi design. There's something so calming and yet cheerful about this style. It would look so pretty in a country style kitchen (I can dream!).

Bye for now

Collection Crush - Animal Designs at Urban Outfitters

Household items shaped like animals are just so much better than boring old normally shaped items. Over the years I've tried to tone down my collection of animal themed items, but I'm not sure I can resist these mugs/ teapots from Urban Outfitters new season.

If you want to bring a little more animal into your tea drinking then follow the links below to find the items above...

1. Raccoon Mug

2. Bunny Teapot

3. Cat Mug Set

4. Bunny Mug Set

Collection Crush - Marigold at Marks and Spencer

The 1970's are alive and well in Marks and Spencer for their new season of 'Marigold' home ware. The colours in this collection are so pretty and remind me of spring. The oven gloves also totally remind me of a pair my mum had so they get plus points for nostalgia. Here are a few of my favourites:

1. Tea, coffee and sugar tins

2. Oven Gloves

3. Tea Towell

4. Apron

Bye for now!
